Glowing Scentsations was born from that sacred mix of creativity, survival, and soul.

I’m Jayna also know as Jay the body care plug, creator, and soul behind Glowing Scentsations. I started working on this brand in 2023 during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. At the time, I lived 1800 miles away from my family, and was recovering from broken toes, heart break, and spiritual awakening.

My money was tight, life felt heavy, and I needed something that brought me back to myself. In every aspect I felt beat down, but there were two things that always brought me joy: being creative, and pampering myself. Remember, like I said money was tight so I was balling on a budget. I didn’t have the means to do much besides handle my necessities. But, that didn’t stop me from searching for inexpensive creative hobbies on social media and my local dollar store. And then, one day it hit me “Why don’t I make my own body butter?”

That thought made me feel warm and fuzzy. I knew that if I made my own moisturizer I’d feel like I did something good for myself. I’d smell really good, I’d save money by making my own instead of outsourcing, and would also know every ingredient that I put on my skin.

But see, I have a Capricorn moon, and am a life path number 8 so anything can be seen as an entrepreneurial endeavor for me and thats exactly what happened. What initially was created to boost my self confidence and ground myself quickly turned into my way out of being just another worker for someone else. Learning how to craft body butter expanded to soap, then glosses, and so on. If I was going to make this hobby dream a reality this would need to be something that felt luxurious, natural, energetically aligned, and most importantly, deeply personal.What began as a self care ritual quickly transformed into a passion. Then it became a purpose.
